When I a was lot younger I had all kinds of lines sometimes called boundaries or even limitations. Of course as children we all need boundaries to keep us safe. But as we get older these imposed boundaries become less and less and then as we reach adulthood we pick and choose our own boundaries. Being the person I am I still keep lots of boundaries because for me they help keep from crossing "the" line.
For the purpose of this blog the so called "line" is deciding if, when and how does the love and sex in our favorite genre of books cross the line to the point that an individual or group of individuals decide it needs to be censored.
