Was It Romance, Love or Just Plain Sex?

From my grandmother's point of view it was just plain sex because "those" girls were having sex without the benefit of feeling romantic or being in love. Perhaps it was the best kind of sex, you know just plain old raw sex for the fun of it. I don't think my grandmother would agree with me but personally and think sex completes romance. Since I write erotica my chacters are having sex but I find it most interesting that it is always in a very romantic setting and they do have deep feelings for one another. So, can we have romance without sex?
